“We learned last year that many of the effects of climate change are irreversible. Sea levels have been rising at a greater rate year after year, and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimates they could rise by another meter or more by the end of this century.

As National Geographic showed us in 2013, sea levels would rise by 216 feet if all the land ice on the planet were to melt. This would dramatically reshape the continents and drown many of the world’s major cities”.

Eyesight problems are one of the most dealt common problems among kids, teenagers, adult etc. We can never know if we really have it, till we experience a small glitch in trying to read a book or maybe identify something thats a few yards away. Asapscience finally tells how we can really know if we are in need of a spectacle.

Scientist has confirmed that humans share 99% DNA similar to that of a chimpanzee.  Does that mean the chromosomes in our body are exactly the same as a chimp? Not quite. Youtuber MinuteEarth explains us the process in layman terms to understand how we share 99% DNA of a chimp.

Science has turned out to be a mystery which we will never truly understand no matter how hard scientists all around the world try to prove their theories. At the end of the day, we will always have an unresolved question which will in turn lead to another research prolonging time to an extent which may unseemly take us to the age of mankind’s extinction.

Let’s slow down a bit, perhaps we still have a long way to go to reach that destination. But understanding science as a subject, well that has turned out to be a pain in many of our lives.

But what if I told you understanding science won’t take us more than a minute?

Yes, it’s true! But before you start throwing yours hats off, have a look at some of the videos down below by Brian Greene. This Pulitzer Prize finalist explains concepts of science in a way like never before in ‘Science Unplugged’.
Maybe we will finally understand Quantum theory and also if human teleportation is possible.

Lingerie is the 21st century woman’s best friend and Victoria’s Secret has made it possible for every woman on earth to look like a super model. But nothing is ever enough for us, so the Japanese lingerie company, Ravijour has come up with a brilliant idea in ‘The digital era of lingerie’. They have created a bra which unhooks itself when it detects true love. Let’s call it high tech lingerie which actually acts as confirmation whether one has found true love! Well that sounds bizarre, but, “It would only open when in-built sensors sense the user’s pulse rate reaching the True Love Rate” said a report on ITMedia, a Japanese website.

Its functions are quite easy for an average person to understand. The sensor detects a woman’s increase in heart beat rate caused by the adrenal medulla part of the adrenal gland.

The adrenal medulla secretes catecholamine which in turn affects the automatic nervous system and causes the heart rate to increase.

The sensor then studies the heart signals and examines them with an app.

After Calculating the ‘The true love rate’ based on the changes in the heart rate, the bra unhooks itself when the true love rate exceeds a certain level.

One doesn’t have to worry while working out. Creators say that the bra will not automatically unhook itself while working out or if one is out of breath, as the sensors are clever enough to determine the difference between exercising and finding your true love.
